Kofi doubles as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana) with over ten years of working experience as a supervising Accountant, Internal Auditor, Financial Controller, Investment Advisor, Tax Consultant, and a Part-Time Lecturer. Kofi’s career success spans across contemporary internal controls, regulatory compliance, tax advisory, sound financial management and reporting.
Prior to joining MASAADA Consultants, Kofi was the managing partner at MARBENT Consulting Limited where he led the preparation and audit of financial accounts for GEOQUAYE Company Limited (Telecoms Infrastructure Management Company), U-Ton Engineering Limited (Telecoms Constructions Company), Golden Mainland Ghana Limited (Building and Road Constructions Company), JO&JU (Oil Marketing Company), SQ Systems Limited (Printing Company), Durbar Court Hotel etc.
Kofi started his career as a Supervising Accountant in a Trading and Construction company and later joined United Bank for Africa (UBA) as an internal auditor. At UBA Kofi rose through the ranks as Audit Team Member, Audit Team Leader and Unit Head of Audit and Investigations before leaving UBA to Join BEIGE Capital. Kofi joined BEIGE Capital as Finance Manager and soon became the Head of Finance for the bank. Kofi left BEIGE Capital to assume full time role as Vice President at Global Investment Bankers, a firm he co-founded with a partner. He later exited from full time participation in Global Investment and established MARBENT Consulting Limited which was merged into MASAADA Consulting.
He has since the year 2010 been lecturing on part-time basis in Investment Management, International Finance, Auditing, Accounting & Finance, and Managerial Economics at the post graduate level at KNUST Institute of Distance Learning. He also lectures in Corporate Finance, and Investment Analysis at the Ghana Stock Exchange.
