Adams’ professional career includes more than 14 years of public and private accounting experience, of which 8 years has been heavily concentrated on audits of governmental, not-for-profits, and privately held businesses throughout Ghana. He always brings a fresh perspective to all projects he undertakes, and is an ardent advocate of the improvement of accounting and financial controls at both the lower and upper levels of management. Adams will serve as partner in charge for the audit engagement.

Key experiences:

• Prior to joining MASAADA, Adams cut his teeth with Latuo & Associates (now Diligence Consult) as Audit Senior and subsequently as Manager at Morrison & Associates where he was involved in the management and control of the audit of both large companies and SMEs in Ghana. Some of these clients include MDS-Lancet Laboratories Ghana Ltd, Accra; Hippo Transport Company Ltd, Tema; Metro Mass Transit, Kaneshie Mole Motel Company Ltd, Damongo; Pilaboya Company Ltd, Wa; Lawra Area Rural Bank, Lawra; St. John of God Hospital, Sefwi-Asafo; and St. Ambrose College of Education, Dormaa Akwamu.

• His exposure also includes the audit of NGOs and donor funded projects and development organizations such as: Northern Rural Growth Programme (NRGP), Tamale; Community Development Alliance (CDA), Wa; Plan Ghana Complementary Basic Education (CBE) Project, Wa; Tumu Deanery Integrated Rural Development Programme (TUDRIDEP), Tumu; and Anglican Diocesan Development and Relief Organization (ADDRO) at Bolgatanga.

• Adams has also served as a Senior Client Service Consultant of Diligence Consult, providing non-assurance services. He was a member of a Team of Consultants of INTESOL, who carried out assessment of Implementing Partners’ capacity for UNFPA programs in the Upper West Region in July 2014. He has provided financial management support to CWSA and six (6) District Assemblies project staff in 2006 and 2007. He facilitated capacity building workshops for project staff, coached staff on-the-job and prepared reports in requisite formats for the World Bank/ IDA.

• He has prepared business and strategic plans for clients including the Zambogu Mango Plantation Project, Mohai Nditol Small Scale Gold Miners, Passby Services Radio Excellence (Rex FM), Mimi Catering Services, and Nyandy Rest Stop and Catering Services.
